ABOUT SKY-HIGH
What Does sky-High offer?
A place to meet, make friends, be part of an amazing team and show off your
talents!
We offer 2 types of class, our theatre class which meets every Thursday in
Daventry, and Private Vocal Coaching at times to suit you. Both the Theatre
class and Vocal Coaching classes put on regular shows, enter competitions,
attend festivals, shows and auditions, and enable you to take part in great
experiences.

So how did it all begin???
When?
The Sky-High theatre Company began in September 1995 in Kent, and 1999 in
Daventry.
Why?
I was 16 years old when I attended a youth theatre half term workshop. Although
the course was amazing the tutor was rude, short tempered and not exactly
complimentary. Upon confrontation, all he could say was “you think you can do
better, do it yourself!”…..so I did!
How?
The Sky-High Theatre Company was set up as a place for young people to express
and display their talents, make new friends, experience new things and gain
confidence. We pride ourselves on being welcoming, enthusiastic, energetic and
above all, creative.
Really????
In Sky-Highs Years in Daventry, we have made 2 albums, created and performed
over 10 musical plays and performances, been invited to festivals, had
individuals enter contests, and performed in the West End Of London (Her
Majesty’s Theatre and The London Palladium) three times. There are plenty more
opportunities to come. Dreams can come true!

We meet Every Thursday, from 6-8pm at The Nene Hall, Daventry. Classes are paid
